1. Bitcoin Mining Company CleanSpark Acquires Second Data Center
Cleanspark acquired the second data center in Georgia for $6.6 million. The acquisition will provide 20 MW of additional power, enough to install 6000 additional S19 mining machines. The production is expected to exceed 650 PH / s.
According to cleanspark, the center is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2021. The facility is part of Georgia’s simple solar program, which allows cleanspark to offset any carbon based energy contained in its energy portfolio with solar energy.
